Studies on Titanium(iv) Tungstosilicate and Titanium(iv) Tungstophosphate. Ii. Separation and Estimation of Heavy Metals from Aquatic Environments

چکیده
Binary and ternary separations of heavy metals, e.g. Zn–Bi, Mn–Pb, Cd–Pb, Mn–Bi–Mo, and Cr–Pb–Bi on columns of titanium(IV) tungstosilicate and Zn–Ni, Mo–Pb, Hg–Pb, Zn–Cr–Bi, and Zn–Ni–Bi on titanium(IV) tungstophosphate, have been demonstrated. The adsorption and elution of important metal ions such as Mo, Al, and As on titanium(IV) tungstosilicate and Hg, Fe, and Cr on titanium(IV) tungstophosphate have been studied. Titanium(IV) tungstosilicate and titanium(IV) tungstophosphate have been used for separation and estimation of Pb, Cr, Zn, Mn, Ni, Fe, and Cd in diverse real water samples such as river water, hand pump water, and industrial effluents.
